About Me

About Me

Hi my name is faith, I am a second year Event Management level 3 extended diploma, at Northbrook MET. I am 19, I have a passion for the work I am doing and it is what I want to do it for the rest of my life. I am not sure if I want to manage artists or if I want to have my own Events company.

This is my portfolio for my work this year but I am also going to include so things that I have worked on outside of college.

I was born in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States and I believe due to the rich musical culture that Nashville has that I have music running through my body even though I can't sing or play an instrument.

SWOT

STRENGHS :

  • One of my strengths would be getting my work in on time, it might not be up to the best of my standard but it is always on time.

  • I love to do research for projects so I also think this is a strength of mine because I can do it and type it up in a neat and organised way.

  • I think that I also give out positive energy most of the time which I consider another strength.

WEAKNESSES :

  • One of my biggest weaknesses is that I don't talk about what I did as in practical work. In my last project I only talked about what the others in my group did because I didn't really do a lot.

  • I also have a tendency to help others with their work before I do my own which can put me behind in the writing up. Which in the long run means that my work is rushed.

OPPORTUNITIES :

  • The culture channels that we have are one by one b because we can show of the skills that we have and the other interest that we love.

  • This year I find that because I have been here a year that I have met more people that can help me with the different ideas that I have.

  • My age is also a opportunity because being 19 means that i can book different venues.

  • Covid is also a opportunity because it give us a chance to learn different skills and ways to do deal with different situations.

THREATS :

  • Covid is the biggest threat there is at the moment , because it has affected all the things that everyone would class as normality. This has caused so many things to change for example venues are not really doing any events because you can do things with a small amount people so this is going to be the biggest threat for this year.
