Weekly Notes

Week 7 - 2/11/20

Well half term was really fun. I worked most of the week. But now due to the new restrictions (second lockdown). I want to be able to go to college as much as I need to but because I live with high risk people, so I will have to be working from home. This week I have been trying to sort everything out so I can work from home as efficiently as possible. This means that I need to find a space that is quiet as well as making sure that I still get wifi. I did indeed find a place that I can work without directions and now I start doing my work next week again. It also means I can attend online classes.

Week 8 - 9/11/20

This week I have been typing up notes that i hadn’t typed up yet as well as doing some research on podcasts and different websites to get ideas on how on how I want to set up my MET connect page, I also want to see what other people are doing on social media to get listeners on to my page and get a feel of how i need to present myself online. Next week i need to plan my next podcast so that i can be prepared when i go to record in 2 weeks time.

Week 9 - 16/11/20

This week I actually went into class instead of doing it virtually. This was so much better than being at home because I got to talk to my tutor about my work as well as seeing my friends which gave me a great sense of happiness after a few weeks of not feeling great because I was very much alone. I have started to plan when my podcast will come out and who will be in them. The next one will have Morgan in. it should be good as we seem to always laugh when we are together. This week I need  to think of the artwork for the podcast. I also need to start working on my personal statement for all of the uni stuff even though i am not going to uni i still have to write it.

I think the personal statement will be the hardest thing I need to do because I never can write about myself and the things that I am good at because I never believe in myself.

Week 10 - 23/11/20

In a change of events i have now applied to go and do the degree course for music business and management still at northbrook. So this week I need to record and edit the podcast with morgan as well as ask for some help with my personal statement. As I did a fair bit of preparation  for the podcast I don't need to do that much. All I have to do is record and edit. The editing will take the longest because I need to go through it and cut bits and make it sound great. So the podcast is recorded so all I have to do is edit it and I can then post it on mix cloud. I need to figure out how i am going to lay out my met connect page. Both me and Morgan had a lot of fun recording the podcast because we had a lot of laughs. I don't think that came across but we really did. Next week I need to record another episode and get the one with Morgan edited and put on the site, as well as getting my first draft of my personal statement into donna. I also need to get my met connect up and running with content on.

Week 11- 30/11/20

This week has really started well as I have been really catching up with everything. The one thing that has annoyed me is that all my weekly diaries have disappeared so I have had to write them up again. I had a few of the weeks already written on paper so I typed them up but the others I had to do from scratch. I have also pertently have got another person to be a guest on my podcast, as well I have to write my personal statement and I need to get this episode with morgan done because I need to post it this week and post the one that I am going to hopefully record this week so it can go out next week. Morgan has also done me a really big favor as she knew I was stressing about the logo for my podcast. She did an amazing job of doing it and I love it. I have started to creat my page on met connect. It is not perfect but i am getting there i need to also ask people to help me with it i am going to put the met connect instergram on mine as well as my snapchat to use my platforms to get the site out there as we want people to look at it.
